Kuraray’s Poval Resin Division and the Isoprene Chemical Division will jointly present their portfolio at in‑cosmetics Global 2026, taking place April 14–16 in Paris, France.

As one of the leading international events for cosmetic ingredients, in-cosmetics Global offers a platform where formulators, suppliers, and industry specialists explore technologies and trends in the beauty sector.

At this year’s edition, Kuraray will highlight key products developed to enable high‑performance and efficient solutions:

KURARAY POVAL™ LV is designed for personal care formulations, offering key functionalities such as encapsulation, film forming, and viscosity control. These polyvinyl alcohols (PVOH) are ultra‑low in methanol, inherently biodegradable, and water‑soluble, making them well suited for a wide range of skin care and beauty applications. Their strong adhesion‑promoting properties ensure excellent performance in products such as peel‑off masks, mascaras, sunscreens, and shampoos.

Isopentyldiol (IPD) is a multifunctional ingredient that delivers good performance while helping reduce formulation complexity. It contributes to a silky skin feel, supports hair repair, and enhances solubilization. In addition, IPD enables ethanol‑free, long‑lasting fragrance mists and supports shorter INCI lists.
