Kuraray announces that it will increase the price of Kuraray Poval™, Exceval™ and Elvanol™ as shown in the table. This increase will take effect April 1, 2017.
With the global rise in the prices of crude oil, naphtha and utility cost, though Kuraray has been making continuous efforts to reduce costs, it has now become difficult for us to absorb the increased cost coming from the rise in the prices of raw materials and fuel. Under these circumstances, we now have to implement a price adjustment in upward direction.”
