MOWIFLEX™ FOR RAPID PROTOTYPING IN 3D PRINTING


MOWIFLEX is a compound of PVOH and plasticizer that has been designed in order to suit thermoplastic processing needs. MOWIFLEX™ possesses all properties of standard PVOH, such as water solubility, and  can be processed as a thermoplastic at the same time – a decisive advantage for 3D printing.

MOWIFLEX™ – A CRUCIAL COMPONENT FOR FOOD CASINGS


MOWIFLEX is a special compound of PVOH and plasticizer designed for thermoplastic processing. Due to its unique properties it is ideally suited for the use in foodstuff casings that comprise a blend of a polyamide base, MOWIFLEX and other optional agents.

MOWIFLEX™ FOR INJECTION MOULDING PROCESS


MOWIFLEX™ decisive advantage in comparison to other polymers is the low shrinkage during the cooling phase. This small change in specific volume is dedicated to the high crystallinity of PVOH and allows a shorter cycle time, necessitates less material and causes a lower tension in the final form.

MOWIFLEX™ FOR LOST CORE INJECTION MOULDING


MOWIFLEX™ is a water soluble thermoplastic material based on polyvinyl alcohol. Excellent cold water solubility combined with low moisture absorption from the atmosphere render it the perfect support material for FFF (fused filament fabrication) based 3D printing processes. The application of MOWIFLEX™ as water soluble support material enables printing of complex structures even those containing moving parts in one piece and high quality.
